Registration and check-in for the 5K Run/3K Walk will be at the Wellness Center from 12:00 pm - 1:45 pm on 2/22/14. All participants must check in on the day of the race.
Pre-registered participants may pick up their packets early at the Ottawa County Wellness Center on February 20th or 21st between 9:00 am - 5:00 pm.
Daycare will be provided from 12:30-3:00 pm only.
Awards will be presented to the winners of the 5K run in each of the following age categories: 19 & under, 20 to 29, 30 to 39, 40 to 49, 50 & over. The top female and male walker will also be recognized.
Participants are strongly encouraged to wear red or wear a RED DRESS!

Map of Route:
Skateboards, scooters, skates, and bikes are prohibited in this event. Children can be pushed in a stroller or pulled in a wagon.
NOTE: There is no charge for children 10 & under to participate. However, all youth participants need to register. Children 10 & under will not receive a t-shirt, unless purchased with registration.
UPDATE: The registration deadline to guarantee a t-shirt was February 1st. Shirts can no longer be upgraded. Some extra t-shirts have been ordered and will be provided to any participants registering after February 1st on a first come, first serve basis.
Participants who register by February 1st will receive a short sleeve t-shirt as part of their registration. Shirts can be upgraded to a long-sleeve t-shirt or a hooded sweatshirt for an additional fee.
*Those that register after February 1st are not guaranteed a free t-shirt.

NOTE: Any additional 2014 Red Dress Run shirts ordered after FEBRUARY 1st may not be available on the day of the event. Participants will be contacted once shirts are available for pick up.

This year, proceeds from the Red Dress Run will be used locally to purchase cardiac rehabilitation equipment for the hospital, with a donation also given to the American Heart Association. Cardiac rehab is a professionally supervised program to help people recover from heart attacks, heart surgery and other cardiac conditions.
If you would like to make a donation in honor or memory of someone that has been affected by heart disease, please designate the amount and individual below.

In consideration of my entry being accepted, I waive any and all claims for myself, my administrators, and my heirs, against all officials, sponsors, and organizations connected with the Red Dress Run/Walk for injury or illness that may directly or indirectly result from my participation in this event. I attest that I have full knowledge of the risks involved in this event, and am physically fit and sufficiently trained to participate in this event. I also understand that in the event that the race is cancelled or postponed, the Red Dress Run committee will make every effort to reschedule the event to a later date of their choosing. If I am not able to attend the race due to the postponement or cancellation of the event or for any reason, no refunds or credits will be granted.
I also consent to the use of my name, my walk/run results, and photos of myself from the event in any form for promotional materials.
For child registrations, I consent to the above for my child and am signing below on their behalf as the child's parent or guardian.
